Requirements
How to apply

Step 1
Confirm Congregation Roll
Verify on the Academic Affairs Directorate portal that your degree has been gazetted.

Pay Prescribed Fees
Pay the certificate collection fee at designated campus banks (Ecobank, Standard Chartered, or GCB).

Step 3
Present Documentation at Academic Affairs
Submit clearance certificate and receipt to the Certificate Unit at Legon campus.

Inspect and Collect Certificate
Sign the register and collect your official embossed degree certificate.

Processing & delivery
International transcript requests
If your transcript is going outside Ghana, check the recipient's requirements first. Many international universities and evaluation services only accept transcripts sent directly by the institution.
WES and credential evaluation
Credential evaluators such as World Education Services (WES) usually require transcripts to come directly from the institution in a sealed envelope or through a verified electronic channel. Always include your WES reference number.
