Step 1
Verify Senate Approval & Graduation List
Confirm that your graduating set has been cleared and approved by UNILAG Senate on the student records portal.

Step 2
Generate Remita Invoice for Certificate Processing
Visit remita.net or the UNILAG payment portal, select "Certificate Collection / Processing Fee", generate the RRR code and pay online or at any commercial bank.

Step 3
Complete Academic Affairs Verification
Submit your payment receipt, original statement of result, and clearance certificate to the Academic Affairs Unit (1st Floor, Senate House).

Certificate Issuance & Physical Signing
Inspect your certificate for accuracy (spelling of name, class of degree, and graduation date), sign the certificate collection register, and collect the original certificate.

Processing & delivery
International transcript requests
Certificates destined for foreign embassies or international credential agencies can be authenticated by the Federal Ministry of Education & Foreign Affairs in Abuja after collection.
WES and credential evaluation
WES requires a clear copy of your degree certificate along with your official transcript. Upload your certificate directly to your WES account.

UNILAG permits third-party collection only with a formal Power of Attorney prepared by a recognized legal practitioner, a notarized authorization letter, copies of both the graduate and representative's valid IDs, and original clearance documents.
