Step 1
Confirm Senate Approval List
Check with your departmental records officer that your degree certificate has arrived from the printer.

Step 2
Pay Certificate Dues on Remita
Generate Remita invoice selecting University of Ibadan "Certificate Collection Fee".

Present Clearance at Exams & Records
Take your clearance booklet, ID, and payment receipt to the Examinations and Records Division.

Sign Collection Register and Receive Certificate
Verify graduation particulars, sign the University register, and receive your original degree parchment.

Processing & delivery
International transcript requests
If your transcript is going outside Nigeria, check the recipient's requirements first. Many international universities and evaluation services only accept transcripts sent directly by the institution.
WES and credential evaluation
Credential evaluators such as World Education Services (WES) usually require transcripts to come directly from the institution in a sealed envelope or through a verified electronic channel. Always include your WES reference number.
